Drive transformation. Create impact. Build the future.
A workplace under transformation
To support our ambitious plans for growth, integration of new assets, operational excellence, digitalization and continuous improvement, we are looking for a Continuous Improvement Manager (CIM) for our site in Mariager.
With major investments in sustainable production, digitalization, operational excellence and capacity expansion, we are transforming our site into one of Europe's most advanced salt production facilities. To support this journey, we are looking for a Continuous Improvement Manager who is passionate about driving change, building capabilities and creating lasting business impact.
This is not a traditional improvement role. It is an opportunity to influence the direction of an entire manufacturing site, work directly with site leadership and help shape how we operate in the years to come.
The opportunity
At Mariager, we produce approximately 1 million tons of high-quality salt annually for the food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. Significant investments, including our new MVR technology and digital transformation initiatives have been made and create exciting opportunities to rethink processes, improve performance and prepare our operations for the future.
As Continuous Improvement Manager, you will be at the center of this transformation.
You will work across all departments, helping teams solve complex challenges, develop new capabilities and establish a culture where continuous improvement becomes part of everyday work. Your mission is to turn ideas into measurable results through data, technology, collaboration and strong leadership.
What you will do
As our Continuous Improvement Manager, you will:
- Lead the site's Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement agenda.
- Partner with the Site Leadership Team to identify and prioritize strategic improvement opportunities.
- Coach leaders and employees in Lean, Six Sigma, problem solving and change management methodologies.
- Drive cross-functional improvement projects that improve safety, quality, reliability, cost and productivity.
- Accelerate digitalization by developing dashboards, performance management systems and data-driven decision-making.
- Explore and promote the use of AI and new technologies to improve site performance and create competitive advantage.
- Build a strong continuous improvement culture where ownership, learning and innovation thrive.
- Connect with improvement professionals across Nobian to leverage best practices and strengthen capabilities across the organization
Who you are
You are energized by change and motivated by making a visible impact.
You see opportunities where others see obstacles and you know how to bring people with you on the journey. You combine analytical thinking with excellent communication skills and have the credibility to challenge existing ways of working while building strong relationships across the organization.
You likely have:
- A technical, engineering or process-related educational background.
- Experience driving continuous improvement in a manufacturing or process industry environment.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma and change management methodologies.
- Experience in leading improvement projects and delivering measurable results.
- Strong digital capabilities and an interest in data analytics, automation and emerging technologies.
- The ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Fluency in Danish and English.
Why join us?
This is a unique opportunity to help define the next chapter of Nobian Danks Salt in Mariager.
You will join a committed and highly competent organization where safety comes first, collaboration drives success and continuous development is part of our culture. You will have significant influence on strategic decisions, broad exposure across the organization and the opportunity to leave a lasting mark on the future performance of the Mariager site.
If your passion lies in operational excellence, digital transformation, leadership development or the future applications of AI in manufacturing, this role offers the platform to make a difference.
